What is pagejacking?

Pagejacking is the black hat technique of stealing content from a high-ranking webpage from a reputable site and placing it on your site in the hope it will increase your rankings.

Pagejacking is theft and is frowned upon by everyone with a moral compass. The technique is very unlikely to work as most search engines are able to determine where a page was published first and which publisher is more likely to have created the content. If you are using content from another site legitimately, make sure you use canonical tags so you don't experience any duplicate content issues.
